I just received an email from the UCI in my Inbox - me and about a thousand other people who are on their media list. 

This is how it began:

"The UCI rejects recent statements by Bernard Kohl, but does not wish to react publicly, considering it completely inappropriate to respond to a rider who has admitted having cheated throughout his career."

Phew, good thing they decided not to react publicly.  That would be tacky.

They should have added, "and he's fat too." at the end.

LOL!

It's a rest day at the Giro today and as we await new funny videos from the Lance Armstrong Back-of-the-Bus Studio I thought I'd post this:

No One's Perfect

It was a crazy weekend during which we opened our pool and had about a million neighborhood kids come over to take their first swim of the season.  It was great fun and my kids had a blast but I have to confess that there were more than a few times when the chaos overwhelmed me and I may have put my Mom of the Year title in slight jeopardy.

With that in mind I laughed out loud when I saw this picture on the internet this morning.

Um, Sara?

Yes?  What?  That cycling blog is still alive?  Are you serious?  And I haven't posted since Lance broke his collarbone and now he's halfway through racing the Giro? 

Oops.

Sorry guys.  I know that it's been way too long since I've been here to chat.  Janann and Theresa have been doing their best to nudge me along over on Facebook so I thought I'd better get my butt over here.

But what to talk about?  I haven't been watching the Giro as it's not televised over here and the weather is way too nice outside now to be sitting here in my basement on the computer unless I have paying work to do.  I am, however, addicted to Lance and Levi's videos that Lance has been posting on Twitter during the race.  They look tired.

So how about those of you who are more dedicated cycling fans these days tell me what your predictions are for the race.  Does Levi have a chance?  How much harder is it going to be for him with the loss of uber domestique Chris Horner?
